Homemade Donner Kebab with Kebab Shop Chili Sauce

Ingredients

  • 500g minced meat
  • 20g chopped parsley
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 egg
  • Mixed Herbs
  • Salt and pepper

For the Chili Sauce:

  • 1 tin of tomatoes
  • 2 Ring of Fire chilis
  • 1tbsp white wine vinegar
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 onion
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp tomato ketchup

Method

 

1 Mix the meat with all the other ingredients.

 

2 Line a tin with clingfilm and pack the meat mixture inside.

 

3 Place the tins in an oven proof bowl. Pour boiling water into the bowl until it reaches half way up the tins.

 

4 Place inside the oven for 90 minutes at 150c and start making the chili sauce

5 Place all the ingredients for the sauce in a blender and blend for 1 minute. 

4 Serve with pitta breads, yoghurt and lots of chili sauce.
